I usually speak to my dad back home in India on my train journey to work every day morning.
Today for some strange reason I could not get through to call him. So I emailed my brother at work explaining
the reason I could not call as my dad usually waits for my morning calls.
He replied saying what’s news from my end. And today being one of those days where I have no work to do literally.
I composed this one for him.

Here’s my news:

Latest news: can’t call India as frequent as before…all top up numbers suspended due to revenue issues with UK mobile L. Thinking what to do next.
Weather news: Cloudy and rain expected.
Job news: Looks bad…I am still employed.
Money news: not yet bankrupt….close enough.
Health news: almost going blind….need new lens…have appointment for lens examination tomorrow…lens cost 50 pound for 6 months :-)
Will be closer to being bankrupt after this.
Family news : everything as usual…still married with 1 kid and 1 husband.
Work news: no work yet…waiting for team lead to find answers to my questions before I begin work.
Looking forward: to weekend to spend time with Ani (hope the weather is good to get out of home) and trip to India.
Life’s current motto: want to study PG degree….but no money and no time.
